Acure continues to offer quality and healthy skincare products that won’t break the bank. The Calming Body Lotion is thick, non-greasy, and boasts high-tech ingredients like echinacea stem cells and probiotics. And like all other Acure products, it is free of nasty parabens and sulfates.

As with many Acure products, the ingredient list begins with their “curoxidant blend”, which consists of freeze-dried acai, pomegranate, blackberry, rosehips, and rooibos. They claim that this blend contains high levels of antioxidants, which in turn neutralize free radicals and help reverse the signs of aging. I like feeling like I’m feeding my skin.
The mango ceylon was an ingredient for which there is little data. Also known as tea leaves or Camellia Sinensis, it is a small tea shrub cultivated across Asia that produces fragrant white flowers.
According to the Acure website, plant stem cell cultures “isolate and amplify” the benefits of a specific plant by up to 1000x the plant’s natural bioavailability. Echinacea is known for its benefits to the immune system, and white horehound has long been used as a natural treatment for coughs and colds. This lotion is a combination of Old World medicinal know-how and modern technology.
For a lotion so full of Omega 3 fatty acids, it doesn’t feel oily at all, and absorbs into skin surprisingly quickly.
