The primary ingredient in this blush is sunflower oil, a true skin savior. This oil is full of vitamins A, C, D and E, all of which skin needs and loves. If you’re worried about the sunflower oil breaking you out, don’t fear, because studies have shown that sunflower seed oil can fight infection and improve the skin barrier function, thus improving acne. (Sunflower oil can even be used on its own to gently cleanse the face.)
Castor isostearate beeswax succinate is a safe ingredient, despite its mouthful of a name. It is a polymeric skin conditioning base more commonly used in lipsticks and glosses, and has not been detected in human tissue or urine. It goes to show that sometimes grandiloquent ingredients aren’t as scary as they sound.
