Quick. Gentle. Effective. MyChelle’s Quick Clean Micellar Water takes what women in Europe have been using for years—the ease of micellar water cleansing and makeup removal—and formulated it with ingredients that adhere to Mychelle’s high standard.
This purifying cleansing water allows you to gently cleanse dirt, oil, and makeup in a single step. And it really works.
Best of all, it doesn’t dry skin, leave skin feeling stripped, or require tons of scrubbing to remove makeup. It’s effortless. Which is exactly why so many women love-love-LOVE micellar water!
Who It’s For
Do you wash your face at the end of the day and find smudges of makeup left on the towel you just used to dry your face? Yes? Then Quick Clean Micellar Water is for you.
The foundation of any decent skincare routine is cleansing. And by this I don’t mean scrubbing your face off with stronger and stronger cleansers and vibrating brushes. That level of ferocity creates problems of its own.
I’m talking about cleansing smarter, not harder.
And if there is any—and I mean any—makeup residue left on your face after you wash it, you need to correct that ASAP. Why? Because your face, by definition, isn’t clean. And if your face isn’t clean, anything you apply after the fact like serums or fancy creams won’t work as well. Plus your skin will probably be duller, more congested, and more likely to age faster than if it had been properly cleansed.
Using this micellar water to remove makeup before washing your face will make a tremendous difference in the efficacy of the products you use in the evening and, ultimately, in the beauty of your skin.
If Micellar Water Seems Totally Weird
You’re puzzling over this product and thinking, What is it?! Water? Fancy water that removes my makeup?
To be perfectly honest, that’s what I thought when I first heard about micellar water. It just didn’t make sense to me.
If you’re new to micellar water, here’s how to understand its genius:
- Micellar water is clear and wet, like water. If I handed you a glass of water and a glass of micellar water, you’d have a hard time telling the two apart just by looking at them.
- Beyond appearances, micellar water is drastically different from water. Mainly because it will remove makeup and cleanse your face infinitely better than just water. And it does—in my opinion—a remarkably better job at removing makeup than a combination of soap and water.
And here’s the kicker:
- It’s gentler than traditional makeup removers, but quicker and less messy than oil cleansing.
Application Tips
Saturate a cotton pad and gently wipe over the face and eyes. No need to rinse.

If I’m wearing a full face of makeup (foundation, eye liner, the works) I need two saturated cotton pads to fully remove my makeup. If I’m wearing minimal everyday makeup, I only need one saturated cotton pad.
And—call me extreme—but I like to wash my face with a cream cleanser after removing my makeup. I’m sure my face would be “clean enough” after using the micellar water alone, but after coming out of cystic acne I’ve seen good results from embracing a nighttime cleansing routine that is just as thorough as it is gentle.
It does burn my eyes a tiny bit when I remove my mascara, but not enough to make my eyes water or bloodshot. And certainly not enough to make me stop using this product night after night.
And one more thing—be sure to shake the bottle before using!
