Curious about the Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser from One Love Organics? I’ve been using this multi-purpose product for a while now, and I’m a fan. But it hasn’t replaced my shampoo just yet.
Why It Rocks
Here’s why I’m a fan of the Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser from One Love Organics:
- The ingredients are safe and mild.
- It can be used on face, body and hair.
- It smells like apples. Not headache-inducing Bath & Body Works synthetic fruitiness. It smells like real, delightful apples. The smell makes me smile every time I use it.
- It’s soap-free and gentle on sensitive skin (for most people). It’s even safe on color-treated hair.
- As a body wash, my entire family loves it.
Truly Multi-Use?
Here’s the thing about a product that can be used as a body wash, shampoo and face wash: it may not work perfectly for every person in every capacity.
Case in point: me. For my particular hair type (fine, straight, longish) it doesn’t give me the bounce I like. And washing my face with it twice daily begins to dry out my skin a bit.
But I still love it as a nighttime face wash and a daily body wash.
Just because I can’t use it for everything doesn’t mean that I’m not a fan of this product. I really am.
Inside the Ingredients
Like all One Love Organics products, this cleanser is free of parabens, GMOs, and synthetic perfumes or dyes. It’s also free of phenoxyenthanol, a controversial ingredient which makes it way into many “natural” beauty products.
Ingredients: water, glycerin, sodium coco-glucoside tartrate, sodium hydroxypropylsulfonate laurylglucoside crosspolymer, sodium cocoyl hydrolyzed amaranth protein, sodium cocoamphoacetate, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, lauryl glucoside, apple extract, apple oil, soapbark tree extract, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, sodium hydroxypropylsulfonate decylglucoside crosspolymer, sodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium lauryl glycol carboxylate, honeysuckle flower extract.

Although there’s plenty of ingredients that are difficult to pronounce—try saying sodium cocoamphoacetate three times fast!—they’re mild, safe, and naturally derived.
