My green beauty routine has evolved over the years. As a blogger, I’m constantly testing beauty products, searching for the best ones to share with you. But even in the midst of ongoing testing, there are certain products I come back to again and again. These natural beauty products are so good, I use them on a daily basis!
Here’s what I’ve been using lately →
In the morning, I start with the COQ-10 Toner from Indie Lee and three drops of the RENEW Pure Radiance Oil from True Botanicals.
I wear zinc oxide sunscreen every day, no matter what. I’m on my sixth bottle of Ursa Major’s Daily Defense Lotion SPF18. My skin is prone to hyperpigmentation, and this stuff has protected my skin better than other sunscreens with significantly higher SPFs.
For my body, I wash with Dr. Bronner’s unscented bar soap. I moisturize with The Body Lotion from Alitura Naturals—it smells divine and keeps my skin looking good even through the winter.
For deodorant, it’s all about Ursa Major’s Hoppin’ Fresh Deodorant.
For daily makeup, I use Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation in Caramel, Ere Perez Eye Shadows, and the Magic Luminzer from RMS.
In the evening, I use micellar water to remove my makeup. I follow up with a massage and wash with the Mother Dirt Cleanser.
Then the fun begins. I apply True Botanicals’ Repair Treatment with targeted mix-ins; I alternate between the Vitamin C Booster and the Antioxidant Booster. I then lock it all in with a thin layer of Alitura’s The Night Cream, organic marula oil, or pure vegetable squalane—depending on what my skin needs.
I use the facial mask from Alitura Naturals once a week. It looks like a plain ol’ mud mask but it is really so much more—it contains pearl powder and colostrum and makes my skin look amazing.
Every other weekend, I do a Reconstructing Masque on my hair—this stuff is a miracle-worker. I hope EVOLVh never stops making it!
For perfume, I use two drops of Jasmine Oil on my wrists and neck. The scent is seductive and intensely feminine, but as a pure essential oil it also supports my mood, hormone balance, and resilience to stress.
