- The color doesn’t oxidize and turn orange by mid-afternon.
- It doesn’t settle into fine lines or pores as long as I’m using a bit of argan oil underneath (although using it with the Smooth Affair Brightening Primer will improve the wear of this tinted moisturizer).

Ingredients: water, algae extract, elder flower extract, dimethicone, jojoba esters, octyldodecyl neopentanoate, glyceryl stearate, sunflower seed oil, glycerin, radish root extract, boron nitride, shea butter, jojoba seed oil, white tea leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract, lavender oil, pomegranate extract, glyceryl polymethacrylate. Titanium dioxide is a reasonably safe sunscreen agent that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. The UVA coverage isn’t as complete as zinc oxide, but titanium dioxide is stable when exposed to sunlight and does not penetrate the skin or disrupt hormones, like some other popular sunscreen agents do.
Surprisingly, algae extract is a colorless and odorless water-soluble liquid. The exact species of algae used in this formulation isn’t specified, but it is hydrating and full of antioxidant oomph. If you’re so inclined, check out a more in-depth look at algae in skin care.
Grapefruit seed extract has a reputation as an effective astringent and exfoliant, but the process of creating grapefruit seed extract is slightly more complex and less natural than simply squeezing a grapefruit. The extraction process raises concerns of contamination.
