The Radical Resurfacing Treatment is one of the best products in Acure’s already stellar line. It’s effectiveness is on par with products three times the price, yet it’s gentle enough for all skin types, even sensitive.
I didn’t expect much when I began testing it, but after a few days, I had to admit: It actually makes a difference.
What it Does
Acure’s Radical Resurfacing Treatment is a gentle way to improve skin clarity and reduce the look of photo-aging. Here’s what it does:
- It targets hyperpigmentation and blotchiness, resulting in a more even complexion.
- It diminishes dullness and brightens skin.
- It improves skin texture without harsh or irritating exfoliants.
- It includes ingredients to help prevent further photo-aging and oxidative stress, making it appropriate for day- and night-time use. This formulation is unique in that it helps to correct sun damage without making it susceptible to more.
The Radical Resurfacing Treatment isn’t a quick fix. But what it lacks in speed it makes up for in gentleness. Many products targeting hyperpigmentation and texture can dry skin out and make it look worse before it looks better. But not the Radical Resurfacing Treatment. It’s a slower, gentler approach to skin repair.
Who it’s For
There’s few skin treatments that can be classified as for everybody, but I think this one comes close. It’s a worthwhile option for anyone looking to improve the overall clarity and youthfulness of their skin.
It’s also a good choice if you have sensitive skin and don’t want to create more problems or irritation as you tackle old damage.
How to use the Radical Resurfacing Treatment
Use day or night, like a serum. Apply all over face, neck and chest.
As you apply it, it’ll dry rather quickly and feel sticky. Be prepared to layer an oil or moisturizing cream on top of it. It wears well under makeup.
The Radical Resurfacing Treatment can also be applied to the tops of sun-damaged hands, under hand cream.
Inside the Ingredients
The Radical Resurfacing Treatment is an interesting blend of safe, natural ingredients such as aloe, pomegranate and organic chlorella.
Ingredients: Organic Curoxidant Blend (organic acai berry, organic blackberry, organic rosehips, organic pomegranate, organic calendula, organic chamomile, rooibos), organic aloe leaf juice, cetearyl alcohol, cocoa seed butter, organic safflower seed oil, glyceryl stearate SE, vegetable glycerin, butterfly bush meristem cell culture, organic sunflower oil, infusion of organic calendula in organic olive oil, glucono delta lactone, d-alpha tocopheryl acetate, organic chlorella, organic evening primrose oil, argan oil, potassium sorbate, white horehound stem cell culture, echinacea stem cell culture, fermented resveratrol extract, organic argan oil, CoQ10, olive leaf extract, lemon peel fermented extract, gotu kola, lemongrass, french lavender, oakmoss and rosemary essential oils, poet’s daffodil.
Although you’ll notice ingredients like safflower oil, cocoa seed butter and sunflower oil in this ingredient list, the texture of the finished product is not heavy or oily. It’s lightweight and gel-like, making it ideal as a first layer under other skin and makeup products.
It also contains other, less familiar, ingredients which give uneven skin a fighting chance. For instance, butterfly bush meristem cell culture helps prevent oxidative damage. And lemon probiotic works to brighten skin while nourishing it.

This sounds fantastic! I really love any product that targets hyper pigmentation but you’re right they can often be drying. I really like the sound of this product!
