I’ve tested more natural deodorants than I can count, and only a handful have been worthy of sharing with you here on The Beauty Proof. I’m seeking out products which aren’t just full of safe ingredients, but also work well.
The Deodorant Cream from Nourish Organic excels on both levels. The ingredients are safe for use (and highly beneficial for skin’s softness and condition). Furthermore, this baby works. And when we’re talking about deodorant, partial odor protection is not acceptable, no matter how clean the ingredients are. It better perform.
This Deodorant Cream held up through 30 days of testing during a hot and humid North Carolina summer. One morning application lasted until evening. And surprisingly, this Deodorant Cream offered a bit more wetness protection than I am used to in natural deodorants. Although no truly natural deodorant would be labeled as an anti-perspirant, because sweating is a normal and healthy bodily function, I’m grateful to have the added protection.
When it comes to natural deodorants, cream is where it’s at!
This deodorant cream offers triple wetness protection and double odor protection as compared with Nourish Organic’s original deodorant. And Nourish Organic has improved upon the concept of cream deodorant by using quality packaging. The applicator is both user-friendly and hygienic.

Extremely Safe | Reasonably Safe | Proceed with Caution | Insufficient Data |
A quick word of caution about this, or any, creamy deodorant: it can be easy to apply too much of this soft product. But after trying it out once or twice, anyone can get the hang of avoiding over-application.
As I sit here writing, after a very long day in 97 degree weather—which feels doubly oppressive with the Southern humidity—I smell surprisingly fresh. The geranium scent is light and feminine, just barely lingering. I love not worrying about hot weather getting the best of me.
Scent Options
This deodorant is available in four scents: Almond Vanilla, Lavender Mint, Geranium (my favorite) and Forest.

Super Strength Alternative
It has come to my attention that this deodorant may not be strong enough for some individuals. If you think you fit into that category, check out Bubble & Bee Organic’s SUPER Pit Putty Organic Deodorant Cream.
New to Natural Deodorants?
If you’re new to natural deodorants, consider doing a bentonite clay + apple cider vinegar detox for your armpits. This way, you’ll get the most out of any natural deodorant.
