Sometimes fussing around with body oils can be a bit tedious when you’re trying to get out the door in the morning. That’s why I’m such a big fan of Deep Steep’s Dry Oil Body Spritzers. Something about spraying the oil, as opposed to pouring it, makes it quick and easy.
The texture is light and spreadable, perfect for daytime use. I don’t consider this a deep treatment, but instead a finishing touch to my morning beauty routine. It makes my limbs look and feel like baby skin.
Ingredients: coconut oil, pomegranate seed oil, apricot kernel oil, squalane (from olive), infusion of organic herbs, lavender flower extract, chamomile flower extract, organic and wildcrafted aroma blend.

I’m disappointed when naturally-minded brands don’t explicitly list each and every ingredient on their label. The natural origin and safety of the ingredients in gray (above) is intimated, but a lack of specificity is not helpful for people with allergies or extremely sensitive skin. For example, I am allergic to nightshades and do my best to avoid things like goji berries and tomato extracts in all that I ingest or apply topically. I’ve had very good luck, however, with the mildness of this Dry Oil Body Spritzer.
Coconut oil, the primary ingredient in this spritzer, is highly beneficial to skin. Coconut oil is a (uniquely) naturally-occurring** plant-based saturated fat. Rich in lauric acid, coconut oil has antiviral, antibacterial and antiprotozoal properties. It’s widely accepted that coconut oil can help restore a youthful appearance to skin. Vegetable oils, in general, can be unstable. They are susceptible to oxidation from even seemingly insignificant exposure to light and air. But coconut oil is resistant to oxidation and free radical formation. And while some people (myself included) aren’t crazy about using coconut oil on their face, using it on the body still gives some pretty extraordinary results.
The Deep Steep Dry Oil Body Spritzer is $13.95 for a 4 oz bottle.
Available in seven scents: Brown Sugar Vanilla, Grapefruit Bergamot, Honeydew Spearmint, Lavender Chamomile (pictured above), Passion Fruit Guava, Rosemary Mint, Tangerine Melon.
